Denim

A traditional favorite, these rugs are made from old denim jeans. The warp threads are a medium blue, strong cotton, and the weft is strips of old blue jeans painstakingly torn apart and sewn back together in narrow strips to be woven into a strong, durable rug.
Cotton
I use many different kinds of cotton fabrics as a basis for rugs. Two of my favorite fabrics are corduroy and terry cloth.

Wool

The wool weft in these rugs is from various sources - old clothing, remnants, and cutting room scraps; but all of it is high quality and has been machine washed and dried to insure color fastness and to control shrinkage.

A basic palette of black, navy, brown, dark red and dark green is the starting point for each piece. Then, several plaids and additional solid colors are added for a truly traditional look.
